Now in its 3rd year, iCR8, The Marcus Graham Project’s summer boot camp, is specifically designed to provide diverse aspirants in the field of advertising, PR & marketing with the exposure and experience necessary to solidify careers within the industry. The summer long program, held in Dallas, TX consists of relevant topical case study and development of marketing/media concepts in response to selected topics. Boot camp initiates are chosen through application, portfolio review and in-person interview held during the spring. The program will also be produced as a docu-reality web series, entitled Man Behind The Brand, to further expose diverse audiences to careers in the industry, as well as showcase professionals already working in the field.

January 2011 Applications are reviewed by Boot Camp Steering Committee & Semi Finalists chosen

February 2011 Boot Camp semifinalist interviews conducted nationally by MGP partner agencies, alumni and MGP staff members.

March 2011 Boot Camp finalists and clients announced

May 2011 Travel and housing packages are sent to Boot Camp team members

June 2011 Boot Camp 2010 begins

August 2011 Boot Camp concludes
