The GO Travel Fund (to launch 2010)

The purpose of the GO fund is to provide financial resource to MGP members interested in attending the often cost prohibitive industry conferences, training seminars, networking functions and educational courses.  These events and activities are tremendous ways of increasing industry knowledge & contacts, keeping our members consistently in touch with top industry influencers, as well as other up & coming leaders.  The industry is based upon relationships mostly, and these relationships built across the country and the globe help to make the audience that we serve “connected” with decision makers and the decisions that they make.  Additionally, the fund will support members who are interested in looking for work in other markets, nationally and internationally, but might lack the financial resources to travel. Financial awards are given upon application and require that a report be submitted upon completion of the activity.  In essence the fund helps our members to keep GOing, as they advance their career.
