WHAT YOU ARE WATCHING

Over the next 60 hours during SERVE 60™ Weekend aka Daylight Savings Time Weekend, starting at 5:00 PM EST on Friday - March 12th, 2010 advertising, PR, marketing and media professionals will connect online and offline to build a network committed to developing a new generation of thought leadership within their industry. They will create change in their industry, not by waiting for permission, but by being the change that they want to see.

Friday, March 12

They will first connect offline at a series of Tweet-ups held around the nation on Friday kicking off The Marcus Graham Project (MGP) nationally. This Follow Friday (#FF) activity will highlight uber-talented professionals around the globe, encouraging them to pay attention to the movement at hand. During these events, several originators of the movement will share details about our programs and provide literature for attendees. They will also encourage the audience to Tweet any questions that they may have about The Marcus Graham Project to @MGProject. All questions will be answered before the weekend is over.

Saturday, March 13

After the conclusion of the events on Friday, The Boomerang Effect kicks into high gear. Leaders around the country will recognize the importance of service and volunteerism, by volunteering sixty (60) minutes of their time in their community or by simply committing their time of service and giving at a later date. This Service Saturday #SS activity will galvanize a generation to focus on community instead of self. The Marcus Graham Project will live stream from their headquarters, The Tastemakers Suite, discussing the importance of building brands, starting with BRAND YOU. We encourage you to tweet about service, volunteer and mentorship opportunities that you are personally involved in and encourage others to join you. Sunday, March 14

The final hours of the weekend will be spent reflecting on the start of The Marcus Graham Project with a series videos and commentary by several of its founders, leading into a live streamed appreciation party for friends, family and supporters. The live streamed event will take place between the hours of 6PM to 9PM CST. The event will mark the OFFICIAL successful pilot of all of our programs. Following the event, we hope to encourage those who attended physically and virtually to assist us in continuing this vision with a call to action to assist in our development. Provision is required to further our programs. This provision includes time, access and tangible resources. We hope that you will help us in this vision.
