About MGP

Marcus Graham Project (MGP) believes that by investing in the exposure, training, and mentorship of the next generation of talent, we will see a return in the development of a vast talent pool of marketplace leaders in the media and marketing industry.

Founded in 2007 by Lincoln Stephens and Larry Yarrell, MGP is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit corporation governed by a 11-member Board of Directors. Board members invest time, talent, expertise and resources into scaling MGP’s operations and programs for the greatest impact. MGP is positioned to scale for impact through intentional capacity building efforts that will be led by the Board of Directors.

The Opportunity

Prospective Board members should be excited about creating pathways so that young leaders in the marketing, media, advertising, and creative tech industries may secure the experience and connections they need to access competitive career opportunities. MGP helps to develop a pipeline of diverse talent and leadership to meet the demands of an expanding digital ecosystem.

MGP’s results are impressive with 96 percent of MGP alumni receiving job offers within six months of completing the program; and 86 percent of MGP Bootcamp alumni are working in the industry at leading companies like Wieden+Kennedy, Apple, 72andSunny, and Fossil.
